Policies
USAF is committed to operating in strict accordance with ISO/IEC 17011 and other mandatory international guidelines. We ensure that all conformity assessment bodies continually meet the requirements of their respective accreditation standards, maintaining the highest level of global trust, transparency, and compliance.
We ensure that all personnel involved in the accreditation process, including assessors and technical experts, possess the required education, training, and industry experience. Continuous professional development is mandated to maintain the highest levels of technical and evaluation competency across all sectors.
To safeguard impartiality, USAF ensures that all final accreditation decisions are made by independent committees or designated authoritative personnel who were not involved in the direct assessment process. This strict separation of duties prevents conflicts of interest and guarantees objective outcomes.
USAF proactively identifies, analyzes, and mitigates risks associated with our operations, assessment activities, and impartiality. This involves continuous monitoring of external and internal factors, ensuring that our accreditation framework remains secure, resilient, and highly reliable.
All documentation related to accreditation assessments, committee decisions, and accredited bodies is managed with strict confidentiality and integrity. Records are securely retained for a defined period to comply with legal, regulatory, and international standard requirements, ensuring complete traceability.
Our evaluation processes are designed to be rigorous, fair, and consistent globally. USAF conducts comprehensive initial assessments, periodic surveillance audits, and full reassessments to verify that accredited bodies consistently implement and maintain their required quality and technical management systems.
USAF reserves the right to suspend, reduce, or withdraw accreditation if an organization fails to comply with standard requirements, violates ethical guidelines, or does not resolve identified non-conformities within the stipulated timeframe. This decisive action is taken to protect the credibility of the entire accreditation framework.
